The swallows have filled most of our birdhouses, 4 in total I believe. The early species daylilies are budded up and a few of my early hybrids have started to bloom.
At the end of the season frost brings a deadly beauty throughout or fields as it kills all growth for the season.

With the rain finally stopping and the weather beginning to warm, we all feel like its beginning.
Water is the source of life and as such life is bursting out everywhere. I love the way the green of spring changes subtley to the green of summer each day deepening abit.

Today I saw two hummingbirds fighting, they collided in mid-air and then fell to the ground rolling around in a bundle of furious feathered energy.
